Cöleur magnifique is a tubeistic stage production that combines object theatre, dance, and improvisation, bringing together the meditative and the playful. At the heart of the performance is a large paint tube, the contents of which are explored by performers representing different sides of the brain. The piece addresses creative processes and the emotions associated with them. Its visual world draws inspiration from the abstract art aesthetic of visual artist Sonia Delaunay (1885–1979): planes of colour, geometric shapes, and the energy between colors create a painting in motion on stage.
