Metropolitan Puppets community consists of 23 puppetry professionals. The members of the community are based in the Finnish capital region, and are united by passion, activity and professionalism. They work widely in the field as directors, performers, puppeteers, lighting designers, sound designers, graphic designers, workshop instructors, teachers and lecturers.

The association is managed by a board of puppetry professionals. The board and members are jointly responsible for the vision and operation of the association and its development. Metropolitan Puppets maintains the Puppetry House in Pakila Helsinki.
