Edith's sisters is a show inspired by puppetry, dance and Edith Södergran's poems. The performers are puppet theater artist Pauliina Vesslin, Rose-Marie Malm and Malin Wikström-Orre.
The interpretation of the poems is complemented by objects and movement choreographies, expanding the poetic experience into a visual entity that creates parallel worlds and connections in the viewer's imagination.
The eleven poems selected for the performance create an overview of Edith Södergran's work, describing the course of a person's life and timeless humanity. Through performers of different ages, the importance of life experience is made visible and that the human need to create is endless.
